Beat the Streets 2015 – CrossFit for a Cause
Grab your kids, nephews, nieces and neighborhood kids for a FUN, FAMILY CrossFit two person team event at Big Thompson CrossFit. This Saturday October, 31st (Halloween) BTC will be hosting Beat the Streets 2015 for Northern Colorado’s own Steve’s Club Battle Ready.
What is Steve’s Club?
Steve’s Club National Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Their vision is to have CF Affiliates and individuals across the country join and offer CrossFit training to at-risk youth at no cost. These Local Clubs are actively involved in making a difference in the lives of these kids and growing their program through fundraising in their communities.
What is Beat the Streets?
Beat the Streets is the annual fund raiser for Steve’s Club Battle Ready so they can continue to offer CrossFit at no cost for at risk youth in the Northern Colorado region.
This is a two person team event and includes 1 WOD and a Floater WOD.
We are hosting this event Sat. Oct 31st (Halloween). The event check-in begins at 8:30 am.
Who can be on a team?
All ability levels for ages 10 and above are welcome to come have fun while testing their fitness (combined age of teams must be at least 28 years).
Teams may be two adults, two teens, an adult and a teen, an adult and a kid, etc.
Costumes are highly encouraged! Make sure they are both family and work-out friendly.
How much is registration?
Registration for the event is free, but we are asking all participants for a donation to Steve’s Club Battle Ready. Suggested donation is $25.
