            Atlas Stone/ Beetle Form & Technique

As Teams of 2 Complete 4 Rounds For Time

10 Atlas Stone to Shoulder (alternating partners 115/65)

60 yard Atlas Stone Farmers Carry (partners may pass stone off)

80 foot Partner Beetle Walking Lunges (40 down, 40 back)

60 yard Atlas Stone Farmers Carry (partners may pass stone off)

 

I will explain all the rules in the morning, but simply put Atlas Stone to Shoulder at the outside gym, then carry to the side grass lawn (no dropping stone), then the beetle walking lunges (no dropping the beetle), then carry stone back.  That is one round. Repeat 4 times. – Coach Cliff

The rules of engagement are as you would expect from me: If the atlas stone touches the ground during the partner farmers carry, stop and perform 10 burpees and if the beetle touches the ground (excluding the turn around point) stop and perform 10 burpees. – Coach Cliff
