This is the same equipment chosen year after year for the NFL Combine to evaluate draft candidates.
– Learn your Body Fat %, what it means, and how it fits into you total fitness picture
– Learn how to develop a body composition goal, and understand what it will take to achieve that goal
– Get a ‘snapshot’ of your body composition as a baseline against which to measure future progress
– Obtain data that can factor into your nutrition plan, such as Lean Body Mass, calorie usage estimates, and Resting Metabolism Rate
Why Body Fat Percentage is so important?
Body composition is one of the best indicators of overall health. A healthy Body Fat Percentage, the ratio between fat mass and total body mass, decreases the risk of many diseases, including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, and certain cancers. In addition to promoting general good health, the right Body Fat Percentage will allow you to:
1. Feel your best
2. Perform your best
3. Look your best
Weight management is important, but the scale doesn’t tell the whole story. For example, too often the well intentioned dieter is losing more valuable muscle than fat. That looks good on the scale, but it’s actually going in the wrong direction as far as working toward a healthy body composition.
The key is to lose/gain the RIGHT KIND of weight to be YOUR best!
