Do I have to get in shape before I start?
This is a common misconception. All CrossFit work-outs can be scaled or adjusted to fit the needs of any one. The same work-out, with a few adjustments, can be done by a brand new person and still challenge the most elite athlete. You will never be “fit” enough. That’s why we are here and offer scaling options for each individual so that you can thrive in each workout on a personal level. Fitness is a lifelong journey, we are never really “there”.
Do you allow Out-of-Town Drop-ins?
We love drop-ins. The drop-in fee is $20 or you can add a t-shirt for $35 to get a great work-out in and have a super cool, stylish, high-fashion souvenir to take home with you. Check out our Drop-in page for all the info.
Why do you require an Intro & Movement Screening if I have been doing CrossFit before joining?
This is a one-on-one session that gives you a chance to see our facility, learn a bit about our methods and philosophy, and experience a workout. The movement screening lets us know you have knowledge of basic skills and movements used in our group classes. It’s a great way for you to see if BTC is a good fit for you! We’ll also answer your questions about membership, programs, and pricing.

Do you allow Kids?
We allow teens, 16 and over, with parent/guardian permission in our CrossFit classes, after they complete our Basics class. (14 and over with coaches permission).
We don’t currently offer a CrossFit Kids class for the younger ones, but check back as this is something we have been thinking about adding in the future. When athletes bring their children to classes we ask the kids to stay off the gym floor when classes are in session, for safety.
